Which SPF is best for men?
Whether you need a men’s sunscreen for sensitive skin, working outside or for sports and leisure activities, we have lots of natural sun creams for men to choose from. To help you whittle down your choices, we’ll start with the basics: choosing the right level of SPF.
‘SPF’ stands for sun protection factor, and we offer two different levels in our sunscreens for men.
- SPF15 offers medium protection and blocks out 93% of burning UVB rays,
- SPF30 offers higher protection, blocking out around 97% of UVB rays.
In the UK, SPF15 is usually sufficient for most of the year. As the weather warms up and the UV gets stronger, the best SPF for men is SPF30.
