Why does Green People use sugar cane plastic?
We choose to use sugar cane plastic because this packaging material is readily recyclable and has a great environmental profile; more about that in the next section.
As a certified organic beauty brand, we prefer to keep our use of preservatives to a minimum. We like sugar cane tubes because their easy-to-dispense nature means that bacterial contamination from fingers is less likely so our products stay nice and fresh.
The sturdy but squeezy nature of sugar cane plastic is also very practical, which means that our products pop back into shape after every use.
