Lift the pipette from the bottle and firmly pinch the rubber nib at the top.

Place the pipette back into the bottle and release the nib to draw the serum into the glass tube.

Remove the pipette and squeeze the nib to dispense two drops.

Gently massage the serum into your face, neck and décolletage.
Always apply SPF the following day.

What is Retinal?
Retinal is a powerful ingredient that converts into Retinoic Acid on your skin's surface. A potent form of Vitamin A, it helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, improve skin tone and texture, and leaves skin feeling firmer and more even. Our 100% natural Retinal is up to 11 times more effective than Retinol and has a much lower risk of skin irritation.

Is this Retinal serum certified organic?
Yes, this Retinal serum is certified COSMOS Organic. Its formula uses 100% natural Retinal derived from a microorganism found in salt lakes. The form of Retinal that we use is non-GM, vegan, sustainable and COSMOS approved.

Is this Retinal serum suitable for all skin types?
Yes, it is suitable for all skin types, including mature skin, sensitive skin and acne-prone complexions. It has also been dermatologically tested and is clinically proven to be kind to sensitive skin.
However, its potent anti-ageing properties mean that it is not suitable for teenage skin.
If you are sensitive to essential oils, please patch test before use.

What percentage of Retinal in this product?
This serum uses 0.05% Retinal. Clinical trials show that this is the 'sweet spot' the optimal level of Retinal for maximum effect and minimum irritation.

Is it safe for pregnancy?
No, this product contains vitamin A and is not suitable for use during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.

Can it be mixed with other Green People products?
Retinal can be used in conjunction with serum, oils and night cream. Its perfect nighttime partner is our Age Defy+ Hydra Glow Sleep Mask. For sublimely soft skin, use this 2-3 times a week, after the Retinal Booster Serum has been absorbed.
To address any redness, mix with our Anti-Redness Oil Serum. If spots are your primary skin concern, blend them with our Purifying Balancing Oil Serum.
Do not use this product alongside chemical exfoliators (AHAs or BHAs) or physical exfoliators (facial scrubs). Always apply SPF the following day.

What SPF is best to use after Age Defy+ Retinal Booster Serum?
Retinal speeds up the rate at which your skin cells are replaced. You should always apply SPF the following morning. We recommend either our Scent Free Facial Sun Cream SPF30 or our Age Defy+ Daily SPF30 Moisturiser. This contains hydration boosting Everlasting Youth Tree Extract and uses high factor SPF30 to filter out 97% of UVB rays.

How do I know when the Retinal Booster Serum is working?
After a few applications, your skin will feel softer and plump and hydrated. The optimal skin rejuvenation is due to the fast-acting form of Retinal used in combination with Hyaluronic Acid and other supporting key actives.
With consistent use, fine lines will appear smoother within 2–4 weeks, and elasticity and firmness will improve significantly from 6-12 weeks. For deeper wrinkles, expect results in 12 weeks.
