Why should I consider organic skin care for my kids?
The main difference comes down to what is used, and what is left out. Certified organic skin care begins with natural, plant-based ingredients that have been grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or herbicides.Â
Organic certification also means that certain cosmetic ingredients are not permitted, such as SLS, mineral oils, silicones and artificial fragrances. These are the ingredients that are often responsible for stripping the skin’s natural oils and causing irritation.
Instead, we use ingredients like soothing Aloe Vera, gentle Yucca to create foam, and natural extracts for a subtle scent.
What makes children’s skin different?
A child's skin is not just a smaller version of an adult's. Its protective barrier, the epidermis, is much thinner and more permeable, which means it absorbs substances more easily and loses moisture more quickly. This is why children are often more susceptible to dryness, irritation and reactions to harsh ingredients.

Getting children to brush their teeth is much easier when they like the taste of their toothpaste. Our natural toothpastes are made with appealing flavours that kids love, and without the SLS that can cause mouth irritation for some.

Yes, our Organic Children range is designed to be gentle and is suitable for skin that may be prone to eczema. We avoid ingredients known to cause irritation, such as SLS, artificial fragrances and drying alcohol. Many of our customers with eczema-prone children find our products soothing and effective.
Is your packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes, we are committed to sustainable packaging. Most of our squeezy tubes for our children's bath and hair care are made from renewable sugar cane plastic, which is carbon-neutral and 100% recyclable. We are always working to improve the sustainability of our packaging.
Are your children's products vegan and cruelty-free?
All our Organic Children products are certified cruelty-free by PETA. The vast majority are also vegan, and this is clearly marked on each product page. We have never tested on animals.
